Happy Diwali

Happy Diwali to all my friends around the world that are celebrating this auspicious day! I wish you all wealth, happiness, prosperity and a colourful life.

I am celebrating my Diwali with my mini Goddess Laxshmi (aka Ni) and my darling husband. We’ve prayed, light lots of diyas (candles and oil lamps) and have just enjoyed an amazing dinner together. Ni and I are both down with a cold but other than that we are happy and safe.

If you’d like to learn about Diwali and why hundreds of millions of Hindus are celebrating today (this week), then please check out my previous year’s post on Diwali.

God bless all of you and best wishes during this festive season.

Love, ZiDDi, Ni and D. Xoxox

  1. Throughout life, you are learning and studying; preparing yourself for each day. There is only so much you can learn from books or others’ experiences. The kind of learning you gain from personal experience accounts for much more. So, follow your passion and don’t get stuck in your past mistakes. Appreciate that you are pushing yourself; that you are improving. You’d be surprised at how much freedom that gives you to move forward and achieve things that you otherwise thought difficult or impossible to achieve.
